We recently designed and built this unique web site for Siobhan Davies Studios. The Studios, located near London’s South Bank and Elephant and Castle areas, provide a unique canvas for creativity both in terms of contemporary dance, but also in other arts mediums. The venue regularly has exhibitions and collaborative events with in it’s walls. To help archive and document all of these projects Bullet came up with website that hosts all the imagery, film, sound and text form all of these unique and interesting displays of art. Bullet designed key elements of the Still Moving Photographic Exhibition that is currently running until 9 April 2011. Put on by the awesome Siobhan Davies Creative Projects team. It is touring various venues across the south of London, kicking of at Siobhan Davies Studios in Elephant and Castle. The exhibition consist of photography of dance and movement, all taken during events as part of Big Dance 2010. Bullet designed information panels, and photo credit signs, as well as producing eflyers and updating their website on the digital side of things. Whilst back in the real world of print, we created Private View Invites, a Flyer and a supporting leaflet explaining what the Siobhan Davies Creative Team have planed for the next 2 years.
So we helped The Siobhan Davies Dance Company do their first live webcast. Setting up from their epic roof space at their Studios in Elephant and Castle we used ustream to do the broadcast. Choreographer Siobhan Davies and dancer Mattias Sperling discused their new work that they are currently developing for performance at the Whitechapel gallery in London. The Webcast was a success in terms of audience engament and the number of viewers, however we experienced few tech issues to do with sound and internet connection issues that we resolved during the broadcast. Bullet were lucky enough to check out the private view of the new exhibition at Siobhan Davies Studios down in Elephant and Castle.

Big Dance 2010 is a London-wide initiative whose aim is to celebrate dance and engage the public’s awareness and interest in contemporary dance. Siobhan Davies Dance Company, based in Elephant and Castle are one of the hub companies covering the South London area. Nina Baker and Alex Murphey approached us and asked us to provide an integrated communications solution across the print, web and social media platforms.
We designed a website portal for them, advised and set up social media site: Twitter, and YouTube, and advised on intergrating their existing Facebook acticvity. We also designed two promotional items of print, a roll fold leaflet and ‘chatter box’ square piece of print that could be folded up in to a multichoice origami style chatter box. This is targeted a school age children, so they can create their own dance routines.
