iTrace – Visual Plagiarism Tool

In the age of the internet,  it is a lot easier for Visual Arts students to plagurise work of other people.  We were commisioned to design and build the website interface for a visual plagiarism system. The system was built an concived by Dr John Collomose at the University Of Surrey’s Centre for Vision, Speech and Signal Processing.  The system using data from the University of the Art’s Visual Arts Database, can take an uploaded image and check it against the VADS database at an image level as opposed to a text based search.  This is prototype proof of concept system.  Bullet created the Logo ID, user interface, and designed the website. This project was an exciting merging of the creative and the technical.  The project was trailed at University of the Arts London, Falmouth and Epsom Art Schools.

Cape Farewell: Sea Change

Following on from Cape Farewell’s Expedition to Scotland at the end of 2011, Bullet were commissioned to create a microsite to hold all the exciting stuff that all the various participants of the voyage go on to do as a result of their trip around the Scottish Islands including the Isle of Eigg. Inspiration Clips

We have for the past year or so, kept 2 inspiration clips up on the walls of our studio.  We have just set up an Instagram account and we will from time to time post pictures of what is hanging off of those clips, as well as anything else that we see out and about that inspires us. Gorm is not allowed to post Twix wrappers…

You can see our Instagram account here. If you use Instagram, please add bulletcreatve

The book is called Poppyflakes and supports her exhibition Arctic Poppy Chronicles that is on until 9th July 2012 at Eden Project. The Book chronicles the colloboration between her and Eden horticulturalist Ian Martin and their attempts to grow the Arctic Poppy.  Gorm headed down to Eden Project for the launch of the exhibition. The Book is available on www.michelenoach.com. Shobana Jeyasingh Classic Cut

Bullet are proud to work with the highly regarded Shobana Jeyasingh Dance Company. We have recently completed a branding refresh, looking at the logo, their print and are currently redesiging their website, and working on their next production.  Here is the work we did on their last production Classic Cut.  We produced Flyers, Posters, Adverts and a free sheet.  Keep an eye out for their next production in which will be in 2 very unique locations.

Tamasha Snookered

Bullet came up with the branding concept and design for Ishy Din’s Snookered. Responding to the script, we created the missing ball concept. This critically acclaimed play was on at the Bush Theatre in london then transfered to Southampton.

A snooker hall in northern England is the setting for Ishy Din’s razor sharp new play about the inner lives of four young Muslim men, part of ‘snookered’ generation…

Michèle Noach Website

We just put Michèle’s website live.  Noach is a founder of Peas, and a highly creative and awesome artist to boot as well. She also rocks at spelling, and make lenticular prints as part of her artistic practice.

Siobhan Davies Commissions

Siobhan Davies Dance Company recently put together a superb Exhibition at Bargehouse on the Southbank. We did a lot of work producing the catalogue, freesheet, microsite and graphic design for the exhibition.  We designed and sourced a large banner, window vinyls, lightbox and internal and external signage.

An advert for the Guardian as well as digital advertising for Time Out and London Dance.  The Catalogue was finalised the day before the Private view, as that was the only time photographs could be shot of the work.

We felt privileged to have the opportunity to work with Gill Clarke who unfortunately passed away on the 15th November.

Below are some pictures of the the install at Bargehouse.
