Displacement

Bullet were asked to art direct and co-curate an artistic intervention project at a conference in Geneva. The Nansen Initiative’s Global Consultation Protection of Cross-Border Displaced Persons in the Context of Disasters and Climate Change conference brought delegates from around the world to discus the issue of climate change induced migration. The artistic project was called DISPLACEMENT. Bullet created a branding, and communication materials such as invites and a guide to the artwork.

We co-curated the project with Professor Chris Wainwright, from the University of the Arts London. The works included a series of Island Table artworks from the likes of Michèle Noach, Ackroyd and Harvey, and Bullet’s own Gorm Ashurst. There was also a site specific work by Lucy + Jorge Orta at an evening event hosted by the governments of Switzerland and Norway, alongside works by Robin Jenkins (Tsunami Rescue Boat + Atlantic Rib), Din Muhammad Shibly, Rhino Ariefiansyah & Marie Velardi, and Andri Poi.

Bullet created materials for the main conference event including banners, folders, tote bags, projections and the resulting conference outcomes report. You can find out more about The Nansen Initiative here ›
