We highly recommend the Becoming Picasso: Paris 1901 exhibition at The Courtauld Gallery. It runs to 10 May 2013. We have visited it a couple of times, and found it fascinating to learn about this early part of Picasso’s career when as a 19 year old in 1901 he launched himself in to the art world. If you can, try and hit one of the late night openings where they have live music and art classes to join in.
