In the age of the internet, it is a lot easier for Visual Arts students to plagiarise work of other people. We were commissioned to design and build the website interface for a visual plagiarism system. The system was built an conceived by Dr John Collomose at the University Of Surrey’s Centre for Vision, Speech and Signal Processing. The system using data from the University of the Art’s Visual Arts Database, can take an uploaded image and check it against the VADS database at an image level as opposed to a text based search. This is prototype proof of concept system. Bullet created the Logo ID, user interface, and designed the website. This project was an exciting merging of the creative and the technical. The project was trailed at University of the Arts London, Falmouth and Epsom Art Schools.
