Siobhan Davies Dance Company and Siobhan Davies Studios provide a local, national and international resource for learning about movement and dance and a meeting ground for new ideas. Together, the company and building support the creative development of professional dancers, choreographers and artists from other disciplines.

Dance has within itself an intelligence that highlights human thinking and activity in a very particular form. The more I see dance and the dancers exploring the complexities, the more excited I get by this form of communication…

Siobhan Davies

We have been working with Siobhan Davies Dance since 2006 and continue to enjoy a creative relationship where both Bullet and the dance company strive to produce work that communicates a clear message and inspires thought and debate.

In 2006 the company moved into it’s new home Siobhan Davies Studios, designed by Sarah Wigglesworth. Around the same time Bullet started to responded to the challenges of designing the communications initiatives of both the Dance Company and its new building. One of the big factors of how the website and printed communications have evolved has been presenting to the outside world the difference between the role of Siobhan Davies Dance – the company and the Siobhan Davies Studios – the creative space. Bullet came up with a brand realisation that saw the use of specific colours. On the websites, we included a unique top-level navigation based around each logo, which enables  the user to switch between the main distinct areas of the website. In 2009 a third top level, Siobhan Davies Relay,  was added.  Siobhan Davies Relay is a an online venue which broadcasts artists talks and other elements of Siobhan Davies Studios’ programme and also includes the recently launched digital archive Siobhan Davies Replay.

Whilst we have a standardised structure, from time to time, Siobhan Davies and Bullet Creative have looked at different ways of presenting and defining new work through it’s print and digital online communications. Please see the following examples:
