Case Study: Siobhan Davies Dance: The Collection
Siobhan Davies presented The Collection in collaboration with the Victoria Miro Gallery in London, which then toured up to the Ikon gallery in Birmingham. It brought together dance artists, film-makers and visual artists and looked at the interface between contemporary art and dance.
Bullet were challenged to bring a cutting edge website that responded to the collection of works. The works were diverse in their mediums and execution and a site was required that would present the information about the visual artists, dance artists and filmmakers.
This project involved two organisations, Siobhan Davies Dance and Victoria Miro Gallery and the work of numerous artists. The overall design for the collaboration considered the two already existing brands, represented all parties equally and ensured the message of the project was clear and appealed to those interested in a wide range of contemporary artforms.

For this site we produced a flash – hybrid website. The aim was to show off the movement of some of the pieces with video and to give a flavour of the artists involved on their individual pages.
Because this was a collaboration between Siobhan Davies and Victoria Miro, we had to find a balance as far as look and feel that sat between the two organisations. We feel that the resulting site and print materials reflected well on The Collection, Siobhan Davies and Victoria Miro.
